Some members of the club have just returned from FlashForward Conference 2008 held in beautiful San Francisco. Some keynote speakers included Lee Brimelow, owner of http://www.gotoandlearn.com. Lee gave a demo of Flash CS4. Tinic Uro, the man mainly responsible for the development of the Flash player gave a demo on debugging Flash Player 10. Some companies that set up tables (and were looking to hire!) were Disney, Google (YouTube), and Adobe.

I'm scheduling our first meeting for Thursday at 4:30 sharp in room 303 of the annex building. Hopefully this will be the permanent meeting time and place for this quarter because Thursdays will be the only day I'll really be available. I'll be sending out a mass email as well. But, now that the site is starting to work well, we should really take advantage of it as a means of communication. Cheers.
Hey folks. Just wanted to let you know that after some discussion with Ryan, I'll be taking back over as club president this quarter. Ryan did an excellent job last quarter trying out his first time as a student leader. Hopefully, he'll be interested in the position again in the future.

The Adobe Photoshop Seminar is on Friday, April 18th at the Philadelphia Convention Center. Tickets can be purchased from http://www.kelbytraining.com/?page=product&id=129. If you're going, you need to go buy a ticket and then a portion (amount depends on how many people attend) will be refunded to you when Ryan receives funds from the school.
As you can see, we updated the site using the Drupal Content Management System. As you may also see, previous forums are gone and replaced with some weird looking forum. Dont worry kids! I am going to be slowly moving over the old forum posts and can assign them to the correct poster as more users register on the site. We are also going to be modifying the new forum to make it seem more like a forum and not just a boring table.
